About Golf Events 101

Among all the golf events I've organized, I would rate the Carlsberg Golf Classic as my favorite.

The event started 17 years ago and it is longest and biggest amateur golf event today. Every year the 40-preliminary leg circuit attracts close to 5000 golfers and played throughout the finest golf courses in Malaysia.

This year four legs are held in Sabah, one in Sarawak while the others teed-off on the mainland. The Gross & Nett winners from each of the 40-preliminary legs will be invited to play in a National Final.

This year they can look forward playing at the 5-star world class golf course, Kota Permai Golf & Country Club in Shah Alam. The event is to be played in December.

The Carlsberg Golf Classic is also more fondly known among Carlsberg supporters as the "Ultimate Challenge".
